1. Business Information

Alexandra Shorey Sculpture is a UK-based business operating under the laws of England & Wales.

The artist is frequently based between the UK and Saudi Arabia. Depending on availability, artworks may be shipped from either location. Buyers will be informed of the point of dispatch when arranging delivery.

All sales are processed under UK law, regardless of the buyer’s country of residence.

2. Purchasing

Artworks and online courses may be purchased:
   •    Directly from the artist (via bank transfer or invoice), or
   •    Through the online shop or course platform using the available checkout system.

In all cases, the relevant terms regarding payment, shipping, digital access, and returns apply.

Orders are confirmed only once full payment has been received, unless an instalment agreement has been agreed in writing.

3. Payment

Direct Artwork Purchases
   •    Payment is accepted by bank transfer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
   •    Instalment plans may be offered at the discretion of the artist.
   •    A non-refundable deposit (percentage agreed in advance) is required to secure a commission or made-to-order work.
   •    The instalment schedule (amounts and dates) will be confirmed in writing before work begins.
   •    The artwork will only be delivered once the full balance has been received.
   •    If the buyer cancels before completion, payments already made (beyond the deposit) may be retained to cover work in progress unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Online Shop & Course Purchases
   •    Payments are processed securely through the website’s checkout system.
   •    Full payment is required at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.

Pricing & Promotions

Prices may change at any time without notice.

Early bird pricing, promotional offers, and time-limited discounts may not be available in the future. Previous pricing does not entitle buyers to future discounts or price matching.

4. Pricing & Shipping (Physical Artworks)
   •    Prices quoted normally include standard worldwide shipping unless otherwise stated.
   •    For unusually large, heavy, or specially commissioned works requiring bespoke crating, specialist couriers, or installation, additional shipping costs may apply. These will be clearly quoted and agreed before payment is taken.
   •    Buyers will always be informed in advance whether shipping is included.
   •    Trade pricing or discounts may be offered at the discretion of Alexandra Shorey Sculpture for interior designers, galleries, or trade buyers. In such cases, shipping costs may be charged separately and confirmed at the time of quotation.

Any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Online Courses & Digital Products

Alexandra Shorey Sculpture offers online courses and digital educational materials through this website.

Access & Delivery
   •    Courses are delivered digitally via the website platform.
   •    Access details will be provided by email following successful payment.
   •    Access is granted to the individual purchaser only.
   •    Access may be provided as lifetime access or for a specified duration as stated at the time of purchase.
   •    The artist reserves the right to update, modify, or improve course content over time.

Refunds & Cooling-Off Period (Digital Products)

Under UK consumer law, consumers normally have a 14-day right to cancel online purchases.

However, for digital content:
   •    By purchasing and accessing an online course, you agree to immediate access to digital materials.
   •    Once access has been granted, the 14-day cooling-off period no longer applies.
   •    All online course and digital product purchases are non-refundable once accessed.

Intellectual Property – Course Content

All course materials, including:
   •    Video lessons
   •    Written content
   •    Downloadable resources
   •    Images and demonstrations
   •    Teaching methods and concepts

remain the intellectual property of Alexandra Shorey.

Purchasers may not:
   •    Share login details
   •    Reproduce, record, copy, or redistribute course materials
   •    Resell any part of the course
   •    Teach the course content as their own

Course access is granted for personal educational use only.

Student Responsibility & Safety

Students are responsible for:
   •    Working safely with tools and materials
   •    Using appropriate protective equipment
   •    Ensuring a safe working environment

Alexandra Shorey Sculpture accepts no liability for injury, damage, or loss resulting from the application of techniques demonstrated in the course.

Community & Conduct

If community features (such as comments or discussion areas) are included:
   •    Participants must engage respectfully and professionally.
   •    Harassment, inappropriate behaviour, or misuse may result in removal of access without refund.

6. Cooling-Off Period, Returns & Cancellations (Physical Artworks)

Under UK consumer law, buyers normally have a 14-day right to cancel online purchases.
   •    For ready-made artworks (pieces already in stock), this right applies.
   •    For made-to-order artworks that follow a standard edition or design (not personalised), this right may still apply.
   •    For commissioned or customised artworks created specifically to the buyer’s request, the 14-day cancellation right does not apply once work has commenced.

If exercising the right to cancel:
   •    The artwork must be returned in its original condition and packaging.
   •    Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense unless the item is faulty or damaged.

7. Damaged Artwork

In the rare event that an artwork arrives damaged, buyers must notify Alexandra Shorey Sculpture within 7 days of delivery and provide photographic evidence.

Depending on the nature of the damage, remedies may include:
   •    A repair kit provided at no cost,
   •    A professional repair arranged by the artist, or
   •    Return and replacement or refund.

If a return is agreed:
   •    The artwork must be returned in its original or equivalent protective packaging.
   •    Return shipping costs for confirmed damaged items will be covered by Alexandra Shorey Sculpture.
   •    Refunds will not be issued without the safe return of the original artwork.

8. Copyright & Intellectual Property (Artworks)

All artworks, designs, images, and written content created by Alexandra Shorey remain the intellectual property of the artist.
   •    When purchasing an artwork, the buyer acquires ownership of the physical object only.
   •    Copyright and all intellectual property rights remain with the artist.
   •    No artwork may be reproduced, copied, photographed for commercial use, printed, or otherwise exploited without prior written permission.
   •    The artist retains the right to use images of all artworks, including commissioned works, for portfolio, promotional, exhibition, and publication purposes.
   •    The artist asserts the right to be identified as the creator of all works produced.

9. Liability

Alexandra Shorey Sculpture is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:
   •    Use of this website
   •    Purchase of artworks
   •    Participation in online courses

Responsibility for risk of loss for physical artworks passes to the buyer upon confirmed delivery by the courier.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so under UK law.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
